Goodgod Burgers

This place is one of Sydney’s best-kept secrets.  Tucked away in 55 Liverpool St, you wouldn’t know it exists.  (Apart from a google search on burgers in Sydney!) But walk inside and be treated to a burger sanctuary.

Good luck finding a seat- but that’s only because this place is so good.  The menu reads like something you’d see in an American diner (well, except for the kangaroo burger with Macadamia nuts- that’s the only exception).  We decide our Australian palates with American taste buds need to acquire Goodgod’s cheesy burger.

The first burger quote of night upon getting our burger and holding it in our hungry hands was "It feels so good!”

The first thing you notice upon sinking your hungry teeth into this burger is the combination of juicy, cheesy goodness.  The presence of pickles are also welcomed.  In fact, the order that the flavour of this burger presents itself in is 1. Cheese, 2. Onion, 3. Pickles. There is so much flavour in this burger, it will leave you lusting for more.

The great thing about Goodgod (the good thing about Greatgod?) is the  free wifi!  So you can come and shoot your burger, and upload it to your burger blog right away.

However, our tummies were still rumbling after the Goodgod experience.  We decided to wash down our burger with this:

And then this:

All in all, Goodgod satisfied our palates but not our stomachs.  Our feedback to the Goodgod kitchen staff would be: Double the size of those cheesie burgers, and you’ve won us for life.

Midnight Double Cheeseburgers

Because sometimes nothing will satisfy those cheesy/meat/onion-cravings we sometimes get quite like a Macdonald's Cheeseburger after a few beers. $2 per double cheeseburger is a small price to pay for these delicacies.
